The Ripple Effect
by Jay Yelas
A ripple effect occurs when an initial event spreads outward, causing a chain reaction that impacts an increasingly larger number of people. C.A.S.T. for Kids events have far-reaching consequences beyond their immediate effect. Lives are impacted positively at C.A.S.T. for Kids events in so many ways, sometimes the ripple effect of a C.A.S.T. event seemingly goes on forever. Acts of kindness by our volunteers serving children with special needs at C.A.S.T. events often inspires further positive actions, creating a cycle of goodwill that spreads through communities. Sharing these stories from the people who attend C.A.S.T. events is the intent of this writing.
