Thanks To Our Event Sponsors

A beautiful fall day greeted all of the participants and their families as the City of Jasper, Alabama hosted their second C.A.S.T. for Kids event on nearby Walker County Lake. Some very special children were treated to a few hours of fishing and boating out on the lake along with family, friends and the expertise of local fishermen. Several children were able to catch their first fish and enjoy their first ride in a boat thanks to all of the volunteer boaters. Riding and driving fast in the boats seemed to be the most enjoyable activity for most of the children. The children and their families were then treated to a BBQ lunch provided by Sons Smokehouse. After lunch each child was presented their own plaque and photo with their boat captain attached. A great time was had by all. Thanks to the city of Jasper, Alabama for hosting such a fine event! Thank you for your hard working and dedication to the program. We couldn’t do it without all of our amazing event partners.
