On a private lake in Lecompton, Kansas

“All the volunteers were so welcoming and friendly. It was just nice to be around others that have children similar to mine and to not feel judged about my child’s actions. This was one of the highlights of our year in 2022!”- Parent of Participant, Lone Oak

“Getting to help out with this event very, very rewarding experience. It was really fun to see the kids having a good time and getting excited about fishing and having a fun time outdoors. I know I’ll definitely be volunteering at next year’s event!” – Shore Volunteer, Lone Oak

This is a C.A.S.T. for Kids event designed to provide children with disabilities, ages 6-18, the opportunity to enjoy a quality outdoor recreational experience through the sport of fishing. Take to the water with C.A.S.T. for an unforgettable morning of fishing!
