“My daughter lacked patience but was able to get close to an animal as well as try to fish. My favorite moment was seeing how excited she was to speak in front of everyone!” – Parent of Participant, Lake Wheeler

“It was extremely rewarding to be a part of such a great event. Despite the rain the kids were having a blast! Talking with the kids and hearing their excitement about fishing for the first time was my favorite from the event.” – Shore Volunteer, Lake Wheeler

This is a C.A.S.T. for Kids event designed to provide children with disabilities, ages 6-21, the opportunity to enjoy a quality outdoor recreational experience through the sport of fishing. Take to the water with C.A.S.T. for an unforgettable morning of fishing! This event will be a combination of shore fishing and boat fishing.
