“I enjoyed being able to share a fishing experience with the young lady we were paired with, and her father, both on the boat and during the awards ceremony. In addition, being able to share this opportunity to serve the community with my teenage son was priceless. I was very thankful and blessed that my son and I were allowed to share a few hours with the young lady and her family. My son mentioned to me multiple times throughout the day how much he was enjoying the day and how awesome it was.” – Volunteer Boater, Lake Guntersville
“Our boat captain was so patient with our daughter. He took the time to communicate with her and made her feel like the best fisherman out there! Seeing her so happy fishing and catching was my favorite! I also enjoyed watching my daughter and her friends each have fun, fellowship, and “bragging rights” as they get to tell their fish stories at the awards! It is a phenomenal event. Planned perfectly. Good people in the community working and growing together with our special needs citizens to enrich the lives of all. It’s a beautiful thing.” – Parent of Participant, Lake Guntersville
