“The overall organization made the day very fun. Everyone enjoyed the children and still had time meet new people and be part of worthwhile adventure. A feeling of giving back in this life.” – Shore Volunteer, Kyllo Reservoir
“My son was able to learn how to fish in an environment where we could ‘bypass’ the awkward learning stage of setting up and setting out. Our buddy helped him and encouraged him while I just was able to enjoy and maintain safety! The awards made me cry. Seeing how proud everyone was of themselves including my son. The high-five walk and the awards themselves were just so special.” – Parent of Participant, Kyllo Reservoir
This is a C.A.S.T. for Kids event designed to provide children with disabilities the opportunity to enjoy a quality outdoor recreational experience through the sport of fishing. Not all locations are conducive to hosting boating events. This event gives participants the opportunity to fish from shore.
