“I don’t know how this event could get any better! The WTRC employees are very special and knowledgeable, the kids have bonded with them and they certainly have bonded with the kids ❤️” – Volunteer Boater, Fort Phantom Hill WTRC
“My son has a hard time communicating and especially if he gets overwhelmed, he will shut down. Our Captain was absolutely amazing with him, he respected his boundaries and his wishes. He never tried to force him to do anything like touch the fish. He showed him the best places to catch fish. Congratulated him when he caught fish or casted his line well. Even after the fishing my son wanted to eat with our captain and his buddies and they welcomed him. My son absolutely loved his day and I’m extremely grateful for our captain, C.A.S.T & WT Rehab!” – Parent of Participant, Fort Phantom Hill WTRC
