The C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation is honored to collaborate with B.A.S.S. for our annual Humanitarian Award recognizing the volunteer work done by anglers across America who serve fragile populations in their community. The C.A.S.T. for Kids B.A.S.S. Humanitarian Award will honor one B.A.S.S. member who has demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to serving groups such as children with special needs, veterans, abuse survivors, or any people who need extra help or support.

“Both the C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation and B.A.S.S. have an amazing volunteer base of folks who enjoy helping others, making a positive impact in their community”, said C.A.S.T. for Kids Executive Director Jay Yelas. “I think it’s significant that the C.A.S.T. for Kids B.A.S.S. Humanitarian Award exists to recognize and show appreciation for those in the Bassmaster family who serve their community well. There are so many fishermen out there with big hearts, it’s hard to pick just one when so many are deserving of this award.”

Nominations can be made here for anyone you think is deserving of this award. The nomination period ends on February 4. The winner will be presented their award on stage at the 2022 Bassmaster Classic in Greenville, South Carolina.
