“My son had a blast! He loved the boat ride, the boat captain (Brad Carroll), the fish…everything! He came home on “cloud 9″ and talked about it for the rest of the weekend! Thank you so much! We will definitely take part in C.A.S.T. events in the future!” – Parent, Logan Martin, AL

2016 Event Recap
The Logan Martin C.A.S.T. for Kids event on April 16, 2016 was held at Lakeside Marina in Cropwell Alabama. This event was made possible by the partnership of The Fishers of Men Tournament Trail and their anglers partnering with the C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation. Children with special needs were paired, along with their parents, with The Fishers of Men Tournament anglers for a few hours of fishing and boating on Lake Logan Martin, one of several reservoirs on the Coosa River in Alabama. Large-mouth Bass, Catfish, Brim and Crappie were all caught, as well as some nice spotted bass which the Coosa River is famous for. Many children caught their first fish and enjoyed their first boat ride thanks to the volunteer boaters. Hopefully the children will be able to spend more time on the water with their families in the future, and enjoy our great outdoors.
