2016 Event Recap
2016 was the first year for this event on Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs, Arkansas. It turned out to be a special day for some special kids. Several nice fish were caught; including a 4lb., 9oz. largemouth bass. The event was held at the Arkansas Fish and Game Fish Hatchery boat ramp and facility. A wonderful BBQ lunch was provided by the One Refuge Church for the children and their families in the hatchery facility, where an awards ceremony was held for the children. The boaters and children shared their fishing stories for all as the children were presented event plaques. A good time was had by all and next year’s event was announced to all in attendance.
