The C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation partners with a wide variety of folks across America to put on events for the children. These partners have a vision to enrich children’s lives by sharing the joy of fishing and boating with them. Our largest partner remains the Bureau of Reclamation. This year marked our 25th year in partnership with the BOR, and we partner with them for up to 20 events per year in the Western half of the Country. The California Department of Water Resources is another long-time partner of C.A.S.T., and together we host up to 6 C.A.S.T. for Kids events each year for children with special needs on California waters.
The C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation is thrilled to announce a new partnership with the Tennessee Valley Authority for C.A.S.T. events in the Southeastern states in 2017. The TVA will be hosting C.A.S.T. for Kids events on Lake Guntersville, AL and Lake Chickamauga, TN next year. We so appreciate our Federal and State agency partners! Thank you all for another great year.
Our largest group of partners, however, is all the independent C.A.S.T. for Kids coordinators across the Country. These are just folks with big hearts who want to get it done for the kids. You guys and ladies are awesome! Thank you so much to all the caring people who partner with C.A.S.T. for Kids to put smiles of children’s faces around the Country.
Year end is always a good time to look back and recall all the highlights of the year that just passed. I’m willing to bet that memories of the C.A.S.T. for Kids event you attended in 2016 was a highlight of your year! Thanks for being a part of the C.A.S.T. family, and we look forward to making more memories with you and the kids in 2017.
