This is a C.A.S.T. for Kids event, presented by Hook a Heart Foundation, designed to provide children with disabilities the opportunity to enjoy a quality outdoor recreational experience through the sport of fishing. Not all locations are conducive to hosting boating events. This event gives participants the opportunity to fish from shore.

2017 Event Recap
Our event started at 12 pm and ended at 5 pm. Each of the participants received fishing equipment and a bag filled with fishing swag. Participants and their families joined us for a meal at 2:30. Participants enjoyed weighed their fish to compete for prizes of most fish caught and biggest fish caught. Each participant also won a door prize which varied from $25 restaurant gift card to 4 pack of tickets to a Cincinnati Reds game.
