Event Recap 2016
Saturday October 1st was a wonderful day for the Lake Powell C.A.S.T. event. Temps in the high 70’s allowed all 21 participants a comfortable morning of fishing. Commissioner Lopez from the BOR (Bureau of Reclamation) attended this event and was able to get on the water and watch the kids engage in fishing. After fishing was complete we had a wonderful lunch followed by awards. All in all the 2016 Lake Powell C.A.S.T. event was very successful!
Event Recap 2015
The Lake Powell CAST for Kids event on October 3, 2015 was a lot of fun for everyone! The kids caught lots of fish, and there were plenty of big smiles all around. A special thanks to all the volunteer boaters who showed up to take the kids fishing. They were awesome, and really were good with all the kids. Jarrett Edwards stepped up to coordinate his first CAST event, and did a superb job. Antelope Marina was very accommodating as the host site.
