2017 Event Recap:
Coordinated by the Green Lake Chamber of Commerce, led by President Brad Cooper, the event was held in front of the Bathhouse Theater on May 12th. The Seattle rain held off and the sun even showed its happy face on ocassion. Fifty-sixty kids filled each of the five sessions. For most, it’s their first time or only time during the year they get to go fishing. We are so thankful these kids and their families showed up for this outstanding event. Forty-five volunteers joined in to help kids cast, bait their line and gather their fish. Seattle Harbor Patrol and the Department of Fish and Wildlife were there to give our water safety talk and teach kids about caring for our natural resources. Lots of fun was had by all!
